New or old fully dry and sound plasters.

Ensure that the surface is sound, clean, and free from all foreign material such as oil, grease, dust etc.
In case working on the external surface, avoid applying putty on a hot surface. First, let cool the surface with water spray or using a wet sponge.

In case of high absorbent surfaces such as gypsum plaster or AAC block, before starting the application, first, apply the Zeorich Primer or similar to reduce the absorption of surfaces. Mix Wallnut Zeorich wall putty with clean water by 40 % or more by weight. Use slow speed electric stirrer for mixing to have desired results. Manual mixing if not done properly may compromise final results. Mix thoroughly to obtain smooth slurry paste for application.

Adjust the water quantity as per ambient temperature and dryness of the surface. The final mix must be a workable slurry paste.

Spread the wall putty onto the surface and apply the first coat at a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm to achieve a stable base.

Once 1st coat is dried (minimum 5-6 hours at normal temperature), apply the second coat not more than 1.5 mm.

Leave the final surface to dry for a minimum of 48 to 72 hrs. before starting the paint application. Once the surface is fully dry and ready, paint application can be carried out as desire.
