High-strength C2 TE adhesive with enhanced moisture resistance — engineered for interior and exterior applications, wet rooms, balconies and thermal movement areas.
What Makes Secure
Stand Out
High-strength C2 TE adhesive with enhanced moisture resistance — engineered for interior and exterior applications, wet rooms, balconies and thermal movement areas.
Enhanced polymer content provides superior resistance to moisture — performs excellently in continuously damp environments.
Certified for both internal and external use — ideal for facades, balconies, terraces and exterior floor applications.
Handles thermal expansion and contraction in exterior applications — prevents tile debonding from temperature cycling.
C2 class tensile adhesion exceeding 1.0 N/mm² dry — significantly stronger than C1 grade for demanding projects.
T class extended open time for large format tiles and complex installation layouts.
Suitable for dense natural stones — granite, slate and engineered stone on both floor and wall applications.
Weather-resistant once cured — suitable for frost zones, monsoon regions and coastal environments.
Good anti-slip characteristics prevent tile slippage during installation on vertical surfaces.
Technologies
Superior performance in wet and humid conditions vs standard C1
Certified for external use — facades, terraces, balconies
Handles temperature cycling — ideal for exterior applications
Tensile adhesion ≥1.0 N/mm² for demanding substrates
Where Secure Performs
Wall and floor tiles in full-wet bathrooms and wet rooms
External wall tiles and cladding on building facades
External floor tiles on terraces, balconies and outdoor areas
Hotel bathrooms, hospital areas, restaurant kitchens
Dense granite, slate and engineered stone floor and wall applications
High-humidity coastal and monsoon-climate applications
How to Use Secure
- Cement plaster or render (fully cured and dry)
- Concrete (all types, fully cured)
- Exterior-grade cement board (primed)
- Sound existing tiles (roughened)
- AAC block walls (primed)
- Vitrified and polished vitrified tiles
- Natural stone — granite, slate, dense limestone
- Porcelain and full-body tiles
- Large format tiles up to 800×800mm
- Remove all contamination — oil, grease, dust, curing compound
- Ensure substrate is structurally sound
- For exterior: ensure adequate waterproofing layer if required
- Do not pre-wet substrate
- Mix powder with clean water at recommended W/P ratio
- Use slow-speed electric stirrer until lump-free
- Allow 5-minute slaking then re-stir
- Do not use beyond pot life
- Apply with 6mm or 10mm notch trowel (tile-size dependent)
- Back-butter all natural stone tiles
- Minimum 65% contact area on floor, 80% on exterior walls
- Grout after full set with appropriate C&L grout
Ideal working temperature +5°C to +35°C. Avoid applying in direct sunlight or on very hot surfaces.
Work within the pot life after mixing. Use T class extended open time for large or complex layouts.
Match notch trowel size to tile format — 6mm for small tiles, 10–12mm for large format tiles.
Lift a tile to verify adhesive coverage — minimum 65% for floors, 80% for exterior and wet areas.
Do not pre-wet the substrate with water. Ensure surface is clean, dry and free from contamination before applying adhesive.
