How to Use Metapoxy
- Ensure tiles are fully set — minimum 24 hours adhesive cure
- Clean all joints thoroughly — remove adhesive ridges and contamination
- Joint depth must be minimum 2/3 of tile thickness
- Pre-wet joints lightly with water on porous tiles to slow absorption
- Mix entire contents of Part A and Part B — do not split packs
- Combine in correct ratio as per packaging instructions
- Mix with slow-speed stirrer until fully homogeneous — no streaks
- Allow 2-minute induction period after mixing before use
- Apply with rubber float, pressing firmly into all joints
- Work in small sections — epoxy has limited working time
- Clean excess from tile face within 10 minutes using damp sponge
- Do not smear epoxy onto tile surface — sets hard and is difficult to remove
- Clean tile surface with damp cloth/sponge within working time
- Do not allow epoxy to set on tile face — very difficult to remove
- Final clean with clean water and white cloth
- For difficult haze, use ZeoClean Max epoxy remover
- Light foot traffic after 24 hours
- Full chemical resistance at 7 days
- Do not wet grout for minimum 24 hours after completion
- Temperature must be above 15°C during application and curing
Ideal working temperature +5°C to +35°C. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures during application.
Always ensure the substrate is clean, dry and structurally sound before application.
Lift a tile to verify adhesive coverage — minimum 65% floor, 80% exterior and wet areas.
Mix only what can be used within the pot life. Do not add water to extend working time.
Mix entire contents only — do not mix part packs. Clean tile surface within working time — hardened epoxy is very difficult to remove. Temperature must be above 15°C.
