How to Use Lite Grout
- Tiles must be fully set — minimum 24 hours after adhesive
- Remove all adhesive from joints
- Joint width: 2–15mm, depth minimum 2/3 tile thickness
- Pre-wet joints on highly absorbent tiles before grouting
- Add Lite Grout to clean water at W/P ~0.28–0.32
- Mix with stirrer to smooth, lump-free creamy consistency
- Slake 5 minutes then re-stir
- Use within pot life — typically 2 hours
- Apply with rubber grout float at 45° angle to joints
- Press firmly for complete joint filling
- Remove excess with barely damp sponge — work diagonally
- Clean tile face thoroughly within 30 minutes
- Clean with barely damp cloth after initial set
- Final polish with dry clean cloth
- For stubborn haze, use ZeoClean Advance diluted in water
- Avoid excessive water during cleaning
- Light foot traffic after 24 hours
- Avoid wet contact for 24 hours
- Full strength at 28 days
- Do not seal for minimum 28 days
Ideal working temperature +5°C to +35°C. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures during application.
Always ensure the substrate is clean, dry and structurally sound before application.
Lift a tile to verify adhesive coverage — minimum 65% floor, 80% exterior and wet areas.
Mix only what can be used within the pot life. Do not add water to extend working time.
Pre-wet highly absorbent tiles before grouting to prevent premature drying. Remove excess grout within 30 minutes before it hardens on the tile surface.
